Terms for digital study packs

Who is selling the pack?

Study packs on Revision Sorted are sold by Policyandplay Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Companies House 17253846). Contact us at hello@revisionsorted.co.uk. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

What exactly am I buying?

A licence to download and use one printable PDF, described on its pack page with its page count, edition and the exam specifications it covers. The price on the pack page, in pounds sterling, is the total you pay. Nothing is posted to you.

When is the order made?

The contract is made when Stripe confirms your payment. You then see a download button, and we email the same link to the address you paid with. The link works up to 10 times. If it stops working, or the email does not arrive, write to us and we will send a fresh link.

Can I cancel?

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content that is not supplied on a physical disc or device, that right ends once the supply starts, provided you have asked for immediate access and acknowledged that you lose the right. You do both at checkout: you tick the box on the pack page and accept these terms on the Stripe payment page.

So if you have paid but not yet downloaded the pack, you can still cancel within 14 days for a full refund: email us before you download. Once the download has started, the cancellation right no longer applies.

What if the pack is faulty or not as described?

Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by anything here. Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a pack falls short, for example pages are missing, the file will not open, or it does not cover what the pack page says, tell us and we will send a corrected file or, if we cannot, refund you. Refunds go back to the card you paid with through Stripe, within 14 days of our agreeing them.

What can I do with the PDF?

Licensed to the purchaser for personal and household use. Please do not share, resell or upload the file. You may print as many copies as your own household needs. Schools, tutors and groups who want copies for more than one family should email us first.

How accurate is the content?

Each pack is checked against the exam board specifications and the official sources it lists, as they stood on the edition date printed on the cover. Boards do change dates, fees and rules, so for anything that affects an entry or a deadline, check with the exam board or your exam centre. The required-practicals packs explain how practicals are examined; they are not a risk assessment, and anyone carrying out a practical must follow their school or centre's risk assessment and current CLEAPSS guidance. What are you responsible for?

We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for exam results, or for losses that were not foreseeable. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

What happens to my details?

Your email address is used to deliver the pack and to answer any question about the order. See the privacy notice for how long order records are kept and why.

Which law applies?

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If something goes wrong, email us first: most problems are fixed the same day.
