Revision Sorted

Privacy notice

Short version: the site collects what you type into the free-call form, and, if you buy a study pack, the email address the pack is delivered to. Enquiries go to Revision Sorted and the checked tutor matched to your child's subject so a teacher can call you back. Nothing is added to a mailing list.

Who is responsible for your data?

Policyandplay Ltd (Companies House 17253846), which runs Revision Sorted, is the data controller for anything you send through this site. When you ask for a free call, Policyandplay Ltd passes your enquiry to the checked tutor matched to your child's subject, currently Priority Education Ltd (Companies House 14128301) for science, maths and English, and that tutor becomes responsible for the details they receive. Contact: hello@revisionsorted.co.uk.

What does the free-call form collect, and why?

The form asks for your name, a phone number, an optional email address, your child's year group, subjects and exam board, your lesson preference, and anything you choose to write. These details are used only to arrange a call or message back about tuition, on the basis of the consent you give by ticking the box on the form.

Where is the form data stored?

Form submissions are received by Netlify, the company that hosts this site, which stores them and emails them to Policyandplay Ltd and the matched tutor. Netlify acts as a processor under its own privacy policy. Enquiries are kept for up to 12 months after your last contact, then deletes it.

What happens to a tutor application?

Applications to join the tutor network go to Revision Sorted (Policyandplay Ltd), not to Priority Education Ltd. They are used only to assess the application and contact the applicant, are stored by Netlify, and are deleted 12 months after the last contact if the applicant does not join.

What happens when I buy a study pack?

Payment is taken by Stripe on its own checkout page. Stripe processes your card details and billing information under its own privacy policy; Policyandplay Ltd never sees or stores your card number. From Stripe we receive your email address, the pack you bought, the amount and the payment reference.

Your email address is used to send you the download link and to answer questions about the order, because that is needed to deliver what you paid for. It is not used for marketing. The delivery email is sent by Resend, an email service acting as our processor, and the order record (email, pack, payment reference and download count) is stored by Netlify. Both may process data outside the UK under the safeguards in their terms.

Order records are kept for six years after the purchase, because UK tax law requires the business to keep sales records for that long, and then deleted. For questions about an order, or to see or correct what is held, email hello@revisionsorted.co.uk.

What does the site store on your device?

The revision timetable tool saves what you enter in your own browser's local storage so your plan is still there when you come back; nothing from the tool is sent to any server. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising scripts.

What are your rights?

You can ask Priority Education Ltd to show, correct or delete the details you sent at any time by emailing Info@priorityeducationltd.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

When was this notice last changed?

This notice was written on 20 October 2026 for the launch of the site, and the purchases section was added the same day for the study packs. Any change will be dated here.
