About Revision Sorted
Revision Sorted is an independent guidance site for parents and students facing GCSEs and A-levels in England, run by Policyandplay Ltd. It answers the questions people actually search for, with sources, and introduces families who want a tutor to its tuition partner.
Who runs Revision Sorted?
Revision Sorted is run by Policyandplay Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17253846. It is independent of the exam boards and of its tuition partner.
Who writes the pages?
Pages are researched and written by Revision Sorted. Every claim about exam structure, rules, dates or research links to the exam board, Ofqual, the Department for Education or the published study it comes from, and every page shows its sources and the date it was last checked.
Some pages are also reviewed by a qualified teacher from our tuition partner. Those pages say "Reviewed by" with the teacher's name, and only pages the teacher has actually read carry that credit.
How is a page checked before it goes live?
A page goes live only after it has been checked against its sources and its status set to reviewed; the site's build refuses to publish anything still marked as a draft. Where the facts are uncertain, the caveat sits inside the sentence it belongs to, so a quoted sentence stays honest on its own.

How does the site make money?
Revision Sorted is free to read and earns in three ways. It sells optional study packs, it carries affiliate links to revision books and equipment, which are marked where they appear and may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and it introduces families who ask for a tutor to its tuition partner. None of these change what a page says about how to revise or when a tutor is not needed.
Who is the tuition partner?
Priority Education Ltd is a small family tuition business directed by Louise Finn, a Head of Science, and Steven Finn, a Deputy Headteacher, both qualified teachers with over 15 years in classrooms. It is registered at Companies House under number 14128301, based in the North East, and teaches Science, Maths and English from Key Stage 3 to A-level through weekly lessons, 4-hour Revision Booster days and school-holiday lessons, including support for home-educated students.
